Nuanu Introduces the Enchanting Magic Garden: A Sanctuary for Bali’s Biodiversity

BALINEWS.ID – Nuanu, an innovative creative city on Bali’s southwest coast, proudly announces the inauguration of the Magic Garden, a sprawling 3,600m² immersive sanctuary dedicated to Bali’s native biodiversity. This groundbreaking initiative underscores Nuanu’s commitment to sustainable development by harmoniously integrating conservation and education into its community-focused vision.

A Masterpiece of Ecological Innovation

The Magic Garden intertwines organic design with cutting-edge architecture, inspired by nature’s inherent elegance. Structures resembling leaves, honeycombs, and spiderwebs symbolize unity, resilience, and life’s interconnectedness. This sanctuary invites visitors to immerse themselves in Bali’s rich flora and fauna through thoughtfully curated experiences. Its inaugural phase features three captivating zones:

-Butterfly Garden: A domed refuge crafted to replicate the natural habitats of Bali’s native butterflies and dragonflies. Here, visitors can witness the delicate lifecycle of these pollinators, which play a vital role in sustaining ecosystems. Impressively, Nuanu’s conservation program boasts a 20% survival rate for butterflies—ten times higher than in the wild.

-Botanical Gallery: Showcasing over 400 rare plant species ethically curated in collaboration with conservation authorities, this space serves as a hub for education and reforestation. It combines the visual splendor of paludarium ecosystems with practical contributions to biodiversity, bolstered by Nuanu’s planting of more than 15,000 trees.

-Orchid Galore: A mesmerizing collection of 500 native orchid species, this exhibit celebrates the intricate beauty of Bali’s floral treasures, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts and botanists alike.

Exciting Horizons Ahead

Future expansions promise even more transformative encounters with nature. Upcoming features include:

-Biota Lab: A research hub dedicated to exploring interspecies relationships within Bali’s ecosystem.

-Pollinator’s Jewel: A vibrant haven spotlighting pollinators’ pivotal roles in sustaining biodiversity.

-Tropical Permaculture Garden: Demonstrating the coexistence of edible and medicinal plants through sustainable agriculture techniques.

-Miyawaki Method Forest: An innovative approach accelerating forest regeneration, creating self-sustaining ecosystems within years.

Behind the Vision: The Nuanu Nature Team

Spearheaded by Audria Evelinn, Nuanu’s Nature Team—the city’s largest division—drives the Magic Garden’s creation and stewardship. This 100-member team operates across three pillars, Landscaping: Focused on reforestation and green space maintenance. Biota Laboratory: Dedicated to conservation and biodiversity mapping, and Waste Management: Pioneering sustainable waste solutions with an impressive 85% recovery rate in 2024.

“Magic Garden transcends aesthetics; it’s a living testament to our respect for the land and commitment to environmental stewardship,” said Evelinn. “We aspire to deepen humanity’s connection with nature while safeguarding its future.”
